Welcome to The Rainbow Tree!

The Rainbow Tree is a home based Ofsted registered childcare setting, for up to six children aged 0 to 5 years.

Hi I'm Jo, I left teaching after 12+ years to set up The Rainbow Tree. Being an experienced fully qualified EYFS teacher means I can offer focused supported learning journeys to each child in our setting.

My partner David has joined me at the Rainbow Tree as co-owner. He brings his school based experience of working across all age groups from EYFS to secondary school as a counsellor, play therapist and school project manager for the charity Place2Be.

We offer a warm, safe, secure, fun and caring environment where each child is given the opportunity to learn at their own pace, to experiment, explore, have fun, and grow in confidence. We strive to create a firm foundation for each child's ongoing learning journey.

The Rainbow Tree is based in our home at 69 Killigrew Street, TR113PR which is close to The Moor in central Falmouth. There's a large parking area at the rear of the house, to park up for drop offs and pick ups.

Both David and I have enhanced DBS checks.

Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher Lead Childcare

Having a degree in early years education, and 12 years+ experience of providing fun stimulating child centred learning in early years settings, enables me to offer your child more than just the day care that some larger providers offer.

Because I only have small groups of up to six children, I can really focus on the needs of each child in my care, and plan topics and play/learning opportunities around the interests of the child.
